About this service
Walnut Creek Rodent Control is an independent website that connects homeowners with local rodent-control contractors. We are not a contractor; contractors may pay us for project requests.
What we collect
When you send a form, we collect what you enter: name, phone, email (if given), city or ZIP, the problem you describe, details about your home and any notes. The form also records the page you sent it from, the referring page and campaign tags (such as utm_source) so we know how you found the site. When you call, our phone provider records the calling number, time and duration, and calls may be recorded.
We use analytics (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager) to measure visits and actions such as calls and form submissions. Analytics events do not include your name, phone, email, address or message.
How we use it
We use your information to pass your request to an independent rodent-control contractor serving your area, who may contact you about your project. Contractors may pay us for project requests or for use of this website. We send your request only to contractors who may do your project, and we don't sell or give your information to anyone for unrelated marketing.
Service providers
Forms are processed by Formspree, the site is hosted on Cloudflare, and analytics are provided by Google. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Cookies and local storage
Analytics may set cookies. The site stores the first page you visited and any campaign tags in your browser’s local storage so they can be attached to a form you send later. You can clear this in your browser settings.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us not to share it further, by calling (925) 267-6771. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we will respond to verifiable requests as the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and is not directed to children.
